What to Expect When Starting at Rock Solid Health

Starting at a new gym or fitness studio can be hard and intimidating, but please remember that these feelings are totally natural. Because of this, we want to tell you about a few of the things you can expect when you train with us.

  1. Rock Solid Health is a non-competitive environment. The community that has been built here is one that will uplift you. We work to support and encourage each other to give our best everyday, knowing that “our best” and “our success” never has to be linear and has the potential to change everyday.
  2. Our program will make you stronger - Our programs are written based on the idea of Progressive Overload. Progressive Overload is the concept of slowly increasing demands placed on the body over time. This is one of the most effective ways to force your body to adapt and become stronger and more efficient. (We have a blog post on this if you’d like to learn more) Our strength classes stay consistent for the duration of the month, allowing you to get comfortable with the movements and explore what your body can do..
  3. You will be surprised at what you’re really capable of. Whether it’s just creating and sticking to a new fitness routine or having the confidence to lift more than you ever had in the past, you will undoubtedly be making positive changes. Let go of your finite expectations and let your body grow and move in ways that bring you happiness and confidence. Your body will thank you for it and in return help you move through the world with more ease and strength.
